Blaine “Boding” Aribal, 98, of Honokaa died April 9 at Hale Ho‘ola Hamakua in Honokaa. Born in Catmon, Cebu, Philippines, she was a husker/roaster for Hawaiian Holiday Mac Nuts, member of Hamakua Visayan Club, self-employed streamstress and Hale Ho‘ola Hamakua and R.S.V.P. volunteer. Visitation 8-9:30 a.m. Friday, April 26, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Honokaa. Mass at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Honokaa Catholic Church Cemetery. Casual/aloha attire; flowers/lei welcome. Survived by sons, Sundie (Debra) Aribal of Waimea and Ivan (Grace) Aribal of Honolulu; sisters, Naucisa Colinares Majaducon of Iligan, Mindanao, Philippines and Zenaida Toledo of Ozamiz, Mindanao, Philippines; 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces.
