Alfredo Vergara Asprer Sr., 75, of Ocean View died Feb. 8 at Hospice of Kona’s Nakamaru Hale. Born in Manila, Philippines, he was a retired laundry washer from the Orchid at Mauna Lani and North Hawaii Community Hospital and a papaya farmer. Services at a later date. Committal services 9 a.m. Friday (Feb. 19) at the Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2 Pavilion. Limited seating. Face masks and social distancing required.
