Mamerto “Roman” Daquioag, 68, of Papaikou died Jan. 22 at home. Born in Solsona, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, he was a self-employed papaya farmer. Visitation 9-10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 22, at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Burial at Alae Cemetery (New Section) at noon. Face masks and social distancing required. Survived by wife, Narcisa Daquioag of Kailua-Kona; children, Nerisa Daquioag, Sheena Joy Daquioag and Donna Marie Daquioag of Hawaii; brother, Petronio (Nancy) Daquioag of Keaau; sisters, Esperanza Daquioag of Keaau and Erlinda (Vicente) Razalan of Philippines; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild; aunts, uncles, cousin, nieces and nephews. Pilar D. Pasion, 81, of Waimea died Feb. 6 at home. Born in the Philippines, she was a homemaker. Celebration of life held at a later date. Survived by husband, Nemesio Pasion Sr. of Waimea; children, Stanley Pasion, Pamela Pasion and Rosalina (Duddley) Torres of Waimea; Nemesio (Gel) Pasion Jr. of Manila, Philippines; sister, Teodicia D.
