Isabella Mahi Medeiros, 85, of Kona died Sept. 23 at home. Born in North Kalaoa, Kona, she was retired as a waitress at Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and home-delivered the Honolulu Star-Bulletin and Honolulu Advertiser. Services at a later date. Survived by sons, Albert (Janice) Medeiros Jr. of Honolulu and Patrick (Karla) Medeiros of Kohala; daughters, Patricia (Raymond) Kalua‘u of Kohala, Joanne (Wayne) Olson of Alaska, Sandra Moses of Hilo, Susan (Richard) Nauka, Debra (Sheldon) Aiona and Joelyn (Steve) Coito of Kohala, Anuhea (Michael) Spies of Hilo; hanai children Kamai R. Medeiros of Chicago and Cherina (Joseph) Pule of Alaska; sister, Elizabeth Mahi Fuduka of Honolulu; sister-in-law Lucy Hinokawa of Kohala; 28 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. Barbara Jean Reveira, 75, of Pahoa died Sept. 26 at home. Born in Hilo, she was a retired housekeeper at the former Uncle Billy’s Hilo Bay Hotel and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo. Services at a later date. Survived by sons, Peter (Charmaine) Reveira of Hilo and Ralph Reveira Jr. of Pahoa; daughter, Darlene Reveira of Pahoa; five grandchildren; cousins, nieces and nephews. Joslyn “Podi” Kalima Nani Silva, 37, of Hilo died Sept. 20 at home. Born in Hilo, she was a former cashier for Walmart in Kunia, Oahu. Visitation 8:30-11:30 a.m. Saturday (Oct. 17) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service at 11:30 a.m. Cremation to follow. Survived by father, Harold Silva Sr. of Hilo; fiancée, Cyril Kamanu of Hilo; brother, Harold Silva, Jr. of Hilo; sisters, Cheryl (Miguel) Puga of California, Sheylyn (Cody Kubo) Botelho, Loretta (Ronald) Lopes, Rose Nactor and Laylene (Autumn) Willett of Hilo, Francesca Willett of Oahu; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
