Kenneth K. Horio, 81, of Los Alamitos, Calif., died April 18 at home. Born in Hilo, he was a retired U.S. Army lieutenant colonel and Vietnam War veteran, a retired engineer for The Aerospace Corporation, 1957 alumnus of Hilo High School and member of Hilo High Esquires. A Hilo service possible at a later date. No koden (monetary gifts). Survived by wife, Jeannette Horio of Los Alamitos; daughters, Debbie (Dan) Denehy of Los Alamitos and Darnell (Ed) DeMasters of Fairfax, Va.; son, Darren Horio of Hilo; sister, Amy (Kenneth) Tanaka of Hilo; four granddaughters. Porter Hartley Watson III, 75, of Kailua-Kona died April 20 at a private care home. Born in San Antonio, he was an underwater videographer and U.S. Army veteran. Celebration of life and scattering of ashes at a later date. Survived by mother, Billy Watson of San Antonio; brother, Wayne (Maureen) Watson of San Antonio; hanai family, Jorge Martinez Mirando, Blanca Martinez Mirando, Constanza Martinez Mirando of Coquimbo, Chile; hanai daughter, Ursula Santos Perez of Oaxaca, Mexico. Jeriel Tracy Kekaulike Wong Yuen, 35, of Kailua-Kona died March 28 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Kealakekua, he was a contract air cargo supervisor. Survived by parents, Vicky and Chauncey Wong Yuen of Kailua-Kona; brother, Chauncey Wong Yuen Jr. of Kailua-Kona; sisters, Larissa (Dolly) Eppenauer of Ravensdale, Wash., and Melissa Wong Yuen of Kailua-Kona; a niece and nephew; aunts, uncles and cousins.
