Rosemary Coughlin, 87, of Keaau died Nov. 20 at Hilo Medical Center. She was born in California. Her ashes will be interred in January at Riverside National Cemetery in California. Elijej Emji, 47, of Hilo, formerly of the Marshall Islands, died Nov. 20 at Hilo Medical Center. He was born in the Marshall Islands. Private services held. Raymond Tokio “Yoyo” Izuno, 69, of Hilo died Nov. 26 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was owner of Bayfront Service in Hilo and a U.S. Army and National Guard veteran. Visitation 5-6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service at 6 p.m. Burial service noon Thursday, Dec. 13, at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire. Survived by wife, Brenda Izuno of Hilo; son, Raymond Izuno Jr. of Hilo; daughter, Shelley Izuno of Kaneohe, Oahu; brothers, Alvin (Kate) Izuno of Reno, Nev., and Dean (Maureen) Izuno of San Antonio; sister, Lynn Izuno of Honolulu; a granddaughter; nieces and nephews. Stanley Gilbert Miranda, 70, of Paauilo, formerly of Kahuku, Oahu, and Mililani, Oahu, died Nov. 9 at home. Born in Wahiawa, Oahu, he was a retired state building inspector, member of Paauilo Hongwanji Mission and Kaapahu Community Kumiai and a former Honokaa High School girls and boys basketball coach. Visitation 3-4 p.m. Saturday (Dec. 8) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Memorial service at 4 p.m. Casual attire; no flowers. Survived by wife, Sandra Miranda of Paauilo; sons, Shon (Jaime) Miranda of Mililani and Scot (Natasha) Miranda of Mountain View; mother, Evelyn Miranda of Mililani; brother, Frank Joseph (Sachi) Miranda of Mililani; sister, Bernice Miranda of Mililani; four grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Felicidad “Tillie” Hilda Mae Mercado, 84, of Hilo died Nov. 9 at home. Born in Hilo, she was retired from the former C. Brewer and Co. chemical and fertilizer division and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Visitation 5-6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Wake service at 6 p.m. Visitation again 10 a.m.-noon Saturday, Dec. 15, at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Prayer service at noon. Casual attire. Burial 1:30 p.m. at Alae Cemetery, Section J. Joleen M. Simao, 72, of Hilo died Nov. 21 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, she was vice president and manager of CW Maintenance Co. and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Survived by sons, Dean Simao and William Simao of Hilo; daughter, Tracy (Dayne) Bolos of Hilo; sister, Sharon Samson of Honolulu; grandchildren; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
