Police seek theft suspect

Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a woman wanted for questioning for a theft March 16 in Hilo.

The woman, shown with sunglasses atop her head, is seen exiting a Hilo business where items were taken from a Hilo woman’s purse in an unattended shopping cart.

Anyone with information is asked to call Officer Jacob Obermiller at 961-2213 or the police nonemergency number at 935-3311. Those who prefer anonymity may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300.
