Bobsy Caraang Gumayagay, 53, of Keaau died June 28 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, he was a heavy equipment operator for Agribusiness Management and Landscaping Co., stock clerk at J. Hara Store and Hawaii Army National Guard veteran. Visitation 5:30-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 24, at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Wake service at 6:30 p.m. Visitation again 8-10 a.m. Thursday, July 25, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mass at 10 a.m. Casual attire; flowers and lei welcome. Burial at Homelani Memorial Park, Ilima section. Survived by wife, Marilyn Gumayagay of Keaau; daughters, Janice Gumayagay and Jasmine Gumayagay of Keaau; mother, Rosita Gumayagay of Pahoa; brothers, Roy Gumayagay of Alaska and Jay Gumayagay of Pahoa; sisters, Nora Magcalas of Salem, Ore., Lina Gumayagay of Honolulu and Myla (Ceasar) Gumayagay of Hilo; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
