Elaine Evelyn Abraham, 78, of Captain Cook died April 18 at Hospice of Kona’s Nakamaru Hale. Born in Paia, Maui, she was a coffee farmer, manager at Liana of Hawaii, Hawaii Food Bank volunteer and member of St. Benedict’s Catholic Church. Visitation 8:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday, May 25, at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church in Honaunau. Mass at 9:30 a.m. Casual attire; flowers welcome. Survived by son, Robert (Josette) Abraham of Waikoloa; daughter, Melody (Jim) Summey of Kailua-Kona; brothers, Ronald Okada, Gary (Honey) Okada and Stanley Okada of Oahu, Myron Okada of Captain Cook; sisters, Patricia (Hal) Summers of San Diego, Janet Wroten and Clara (Terry) Brooks of Honaunau, Juanita Jones of Texas, Agnes Emerling of Kona; a grandchild; nieces, nephews and cousins.
