Police: Ocean View body that of murdered Minnesota man

Police say the human remains discovered in Ocean View on April 23 are those of a 39-year-old Duluth, Minn., man who was shot to death.

The victim was identified as Anthony Theodore Wagoner.

An autopsy found Wagoner’s death was a homicide caused by a single gunshot wound.

West Hawaii Criminal Investigation Section detectives have opened a second-degree murder investigation.

Anyone who may have heard any gunshots in the area of Lotus Blossom Lane and Princess Kaiulani Boulevard during the first week of April or who may have information regarding this investigation are encouraged to contact Detective Donovan Kohara at (808) 960-3118 or donovan.kohara@hawaiicounty.gov.
