Police arrest suspect in Kona robbery

Police arrested 21-year-old Peter Melling of Kailua-Kona on April 12 for a robbery that occurred at a shopping center on the 75-5800 block of Alii Drive on April 11.

Melling was charged with second-degree robbery and third-degree assault.

He was released from custody after posting bail and has an initial appearance scheduled for May 9 in Kona District Court.
