The National Park Service is seeking public feedback about the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park’s draft Accessibility Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan.
The draft plan documents existing barriers to accessibility, provides recommendations for improving in-park access, and proposes time frames to implement changes. Suggested improvements include upgrades to park structures, programs and services.
The document is available for public review and comment until Jan. 11 on the NPS Planning, Environment and Public Comment website at https://parkplanning.nps.gov/HAVO-SETP.
Comments may be submitted online at the project website by clicking on “Open for Comment.”
