UPDATE: Police find missing 11-year-old boy in Pahoa
UPDATE: Police say 11-year-old Kamaluhia Kauinui was found safe and in good health today in Pahoa.
Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 11-year-old Kamaluhia Kauinui, who was reported as a runaway today.

Kauinui was last seen in the 100 block of Kapiolani Street in Hilo at about 3 p.m. Monday.
He’s described as Hawaiian, about 5-feet tall, 140 pounds, with a large build, medium brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and gray camouflage surf shorts.
Due to his age, he is considered an endangered runaway.
