HVNP disaster recovery meeting moved to Wednesday

A virtual public meeting about a proposed disaster recovery project at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park has been moved to Wednesday.

A monthlong public comment period opened at the start of July for a project that would repair, replace, relocate or remove various park infrastructure and facilities damaged during the 2018 Kilauea eruption.

Virtual meetings about the project were scheduled to take place on July 21, but because of technical difficulties at one of those meetings, another one will be held at noon Wednesday.
