BIIF bowling champ Gaylord of Kamehameha ready to roll on Kauai

Kamehameha's Briana Gaylord, left, claimed the BIIF bowling championship and will compete at the HHSAA championships Thursday and Friday on Kauai. Kamehameha's Kahiwa Ili, second from left, was the BIIF runner-up, and Konawaena's Mina Taniyama, center, and Grace Corpuz and Kealakehe's Kylea Medeiros rounded out the top five.

Kamehameha junior Briana Gaylord had been the second-best bowler for much of the season, until she followed her mom’s advice at the BIIF championships.
