Nestor “Ness” Macatbag Asuncion, 66, of Hilo died Monday, Oct. 25, home. Born in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, he was former manager of Reed &Jay Photography/Action Photos of Hawaii, private contractor for Honolulu Star-Advertiser and Hawaii Tribune-Herald, former store manager for Pearlridge One Hour Photo, partner in the former Prince Kuhio One Hour Photo, opened P.O.S. Computers and was a trainer and co-founder of Technology Resource Institute and Hawaii Technology Source, taught at Hawaii Community College, former officer and member of the Big Island F.I.L.M.
