Nestor “Ness” Macatbag Asuncion, 66, of Hilo died Monday, Oct. 25, home. Born in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, he was former manager of Reed &Jay Photography/Action Photos of Hawaii, private contractor for Honolulu Star-Advertiser and Hawaii Tribune-Herald, former store manager for Pearlridge One Hour Photo, partner in the former Prince Kuhio One Hour Photo, opened P.O.S. Computers and was a trainer and co-founder of Technology Resource Institute and Hawaii Technology Source, taught at Hawaii Community College, former officer and member of the Big Island F.I.L.M. Club and the Camera Club Council of Hawaii. Services held.
