Janet Sachiko Mukai, 89, of Hilo died April 27 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Ookala, she was a homemaker and was known as the “Plant Lady,” selling her potted plants in the former Food Fair Supermarket on Kinoole Street in Hilo. Private services held.
