Joseph Rodrigues Bugado Jr., 80, of Hilo died Feb. 13 at home. Born in Honokaa, he was a retired bus driver for Greyline Tours, Jack’s Tours, Robert’s Hawaii Tours, and the owner of Big Island Sightseeing Tours. Viewing 9 a.m.-noon Wednesday, March 3, at Ballard Family Mortuary in Hilo. Burial at Mauna Kea Memorial Park (1.6 miles up Ka‘ie‘ie Rd.) at 1 p.m. Face masks and social distancing required. Bugado of Hilo; son, Bradford (Layla) Bugado, of El Paso, Texas; daughter, Charmaine Bugado of Hilo; brother, Richard (Cindy) Bugado of Honomu; two grandchildren; aunts, uncles, and cousins. Shigeko Kiyojima, 85, of Keaau died Feb. 9 at home. Born in Ola‘a, she was a retired secretary with the Hawaii County Police Department and member of the Puna Hongwanji Mission and the HGEA Retirees Hawaii Chapter. Private services at a later date. Survived by brothers, Masayuki (Leiko) Kiyojima and Thomas (Susan) Kiyojima of Hilo and Lloyd (Zelda) Kiyojima of Keaau; sisters, Chiyono Kinoshita of Honolulu, Sumie Adams of Wisconsin, Amy Shimabukuro of Los Angeles and Lois (Clyde) Silva of Keaau; an aunt, cousins, nieces and nephews. Elysa “Mary” Packer, 94, of Kailua-Kona died Feb. 13 at home. Born in England, she worked as a bacteriologist at Control Laboratories, Inc. Private services. Online condolences: Survived by son, Brett Packer of Hastings, England. Arrangements by Ballard Family Mortuary.

Rex Yanaga, 68, of Mountain View died Feb. 1 at Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Kona. Private services held.
