Francis Rives “Fray” Heath IV, 72, of Volcano died Dec. 15 at home. Born in Honolulu, he was a carpenter, general contractor and retired president of Heath Construction Services Inc. Celebration of life at a later date. Memorial donations to any museum or nonprofit organization. Survived by wife, Carolyn Heath of Volcano; daughters, Kelli (David) Cruz and Karla (Duke) Morgan; two grandsons. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.

Albrecht Pfizenmaier, 84, of Keaau died Dec. 28 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Stuttgart, Germany, he was a retired mechanic and member of New Hope Hilo. Private services held. Survived by daughters, Rana Pfizenmaier of Waikoloa, Tanja (Mat) Futi of Ewa Beach, Oahu, and Karen (Russell) Ribordy of Keaau; sister, Dorle (Hermann) Stark of Germany; six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; nieces and nephews. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.

George Bailey Shiroma, 71, of Thailand died Dec. 22 in Las Vegas. Born in Kohala, he owned and operated an anthurium and tropical flowers farm. Services at a later date. Survived by son, George Shiroma Jr.; daughter, Keala Shiroma; brother, Glen Shiroma; sister, Naomi Fujimoto; grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Paul J. Vinyard, 54 of Keaau died Nov. 19. No services held. Survivors are asked to contact Hilo Medical Center at 932-3153.
