Police seek lead on missing Waimea man


Police are requesting the public’s assistance in finding a 33-year-old Waimea man who has been missing for almost two months.

Donny Mateo Bruno Jr. is described as 5-foot-7-inches tall, 215 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes and and tribal tattoos on both arms and on his chest. He’s known to frequent both Hilo and Waimea.

Bruno’s family hasn’t seen or heard from him since Oct. 20, and are concerned for his welfare.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the police non-emergency number at 935-3311 or Crime Stoppers at 961-8300.
