Frederic William Brundage, 77, of Hawaiian Acres died Sept. 18 in Hilo. Born in Mt. Kisco, New York, he was a teacher and worked at the University of Bordeaux as Lecture Americain and the head of the University’s American Library. No services. Kelvin Kevin Ceaser, 62, of Naalehu died Aug. 27 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in New Orleans, he was a landscaper for Paradise Meadows and cowboy at the former Sands Dairy. Private services. Yukiko Koochi, 95, of Honokaa died Sept. 21 at a private care home in Hilo. Born in Holualoa, she was retired from the former Hamakua Sugar Company and member of Honokaa Hongwanji Mission and Honokaa Senior Center. Private services held. Survived by son, Alan (Danette) Koochi of Hilo; daughter, Nancy (Colin) Wilson of Kapaa, Kauai; four grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.

David Reddick Nurse, 71, of Ahualoa died Sept. 12 at home. Born in Hawi, he was employed by E.E. Black, Grace Pacific, Ameron, Jas. W. Glover, was a retired senior safety professional with Hawaiian Dredging, and member of the General Contractors Association Safety Committee. Services at a later date. Services at a later date. Survived by daughters, Danielle (Jim) Lightner of Arizona and Paula Gillespie of Kailua-Kona; two grandsons; two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
