Mary Amolato, 82, of Kailua-Kona died Aug. 25 in Kailua-Kona. Born in Ookala, she was a cook for Sandy’s Drive Inn and baker for Standard Bakery. Celebration of life at a later date. Ruby Theresa Cabison, 80, of Hilo died July 26 at The Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu. Born in Poro Caoayan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, she was a retired Wackenhut security guard at the Hilo International Airport and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Red Hat Society. Visitation 5-6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3, at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Wake service at 6 p.m. Mass 9:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Jolinda Winona Carr, 73, of Ocean View died Aug. 9 at Hospice of Kona’s Nakamaru Hale. Born in Kealakekua, she was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
