Julie Ann Kong, 57, of Honolulu died April 30 at Kaiser Moanalua Medical Center in Honolulu. Born in Hilo, she was retired from Safeway. Private celebration of life at a later date, and she will be put to rest with her father, Albert Vierra, in Hilo. Condolences to: Kevin Kong, 1049 Wong Lane, Honolulu, HI 96817. Survived by husband, Kevin Kong of Honolulu; son, Brandon-Lee Kong of Honolulu; daughters, Cherie, Jocelyn (Ceasar) and Arrion Kong of Honolulu; mother, Josephine L. Vierra of Hilo; sisters, Alberta (Lito) and Kim (Ben) Menkel; brother, Cory (Joanne) Vierra of Hilo; two grandsons; aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. Irene Rabanzo Riambon, 82, of Hilo died May 29 at home. Born in Magsingal, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, she was a horticulturist and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Wake service 6 p.m. Thursday, June 25, at the Gardner residence. Face masks and social distancing required. Mass at 9:30 a.m. Friday, June 26, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park, Ilima Section. Survived by husband, Ceferino Riambon of Hilo; daughters, Vangie (Gary) Gardner, Rosejean (Robert) Villahermoza, Maribel (Noel) Castro and Thelma (Efren) Nicolas of Hilo, Ederline (Delfin) Paet of the Philippines; brother, Simeon (Nenita) Rabanzo of the Philippines; sister, Norma Rabanzo of Kona; sister-in-law, Ida Rabanzo of Hilo; 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Olivia Marie Robledo, 91, of Hilo died May 31 at home. Born in Hakalau, she was a homemaker. Private services held. Survived by sons, Neal (Carol) Nishimoto and Conrad Robledo of Kona; daughters, Barbara (Fred) Brown of Hilo, Andrea (Michael) Cravalho of Keaau, Roxanne (Morris) Takemoto of Hilo, Lorna (Gregg) McEntee of Brentwood, Calif., Pamela (Jesse Shimabukuro) Cabatu and Nadine (Orrin) Icari of Hilo; sister, Velma Pacheco of Pepeekeo; brother, Leonard (Jody) Gonsalves of Ainaloa; brother-in-law, Herbert (Jessie) Nishimoto of Aiea, Oahu; sister-in-law, Shirley Nishimoto of Hilo; 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. The late Vicente Lumabao Felipe is survived by, among others, daughter, Jamie (Adam) Veloria of Ainaloa, and daughter-in-law, Tessie Felipe of Honolulu. Their names were submitted with incorrect spellings for an obituary published Tuesday.
