Rotary Club lends a helping hand
The Rotary Club of Hilo Bay is providing support to the Food Basket by breaking down large bags of rice into smaller quantities for distribution to East Hawaii residents in need. Over the past several weeks, club members have donated approximately 150 hours of labor, and processed over 20,000 pounds. of rice.The Reverend Hotta and Hilo Daijingu have donated the use of the facility for this project.
