Delores Anderson, 90, of Naalehu died April 8 at Hilo Medical Center. She was born in Michigan. Private services held. Sherrell “Sherry” Phyllis Franks, 73, of Ocean View died April 9 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in San Francisco, she was a retired Hawaii Department of Health dental hygienist. Davelyn Healani Kauhi, 69, of Hilo died April 7 at home. Born in Hilo, she was a former sales clerk for Ross Dress for Less, public school health aide for the Department of Education and member of Community of Christ Church in Hilo. Survived by husband, Neki Kauhi Jr. of Hilo; sons, Grant (Anne) Kauhi and Jason (Lynelle) Kauhi of Hilo, Brandon (Ashley) Kauhi of Kona; brother, Bradford Camara of Oahu; sisters, Gale (Sam) Lee Loy of Oahu and Caron (Clyde) Tachibana of Hilo; sisters-in-law, Helen Henderson of Hilo, Rossina Kauhi of Kona and Sarah Kapahu of Oahu; five grandchildren; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Kazunobu “Kazu” Mayahara, 94, of Kapaau died April 13 at Kohala Hospital. Born in Halawa, Kohala, he was retired from Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and the former Kohala Sugar Co., a U.S. Army World War II veteran and member of Kohala Jodo Mission and Kohala Senior Citizens. Survived by sister-in-law, Thelma Uyama of Gardena, Calif.; nieces, Laurel (Bill Wagner) Uyama-Wagner of Kapaau and Kathy (Maxx) Okazaki of Gardena, Calif., Rachel (Ted) Okazaki of Vancouver, Wash.; a grandniece, two grandnephews and numerous cousins.
