Highway 130 reopened after traffic collision near Keaau

Police say Highway 130 is now open in both directions.

The main artery between upper and lower Puna had been closed for several hours because of a traffic accident between the two- and three-mile markers.

The closure caused a major traffic snarl on both Highway 130 and Highway 11, and caused the closure today of Kua O Ka La Public Charter School.
