Miles Yukio Kajiyama, 66, of Pahoa died Jan. 9 at Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Hilo. Celebration of life 10-2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1 at Onekahakaha Beach Park Pavilion No. 4. Casual attire. Edward “Ed” Galu Stevens, 89, of Kailua-Kona died Nov. 30 at home. Born in Honolulu, he was a retired district manager for the former Hawaiian Telephone Co. and U.S. Air Force veteran. Celebration of life noon until sunset, Saturday, Feb. 15, at Hawaii Big Game Fishing Club at Honokohau Small Boat Harbor. Service at 1 p.m. Luncheon to follow. No flowers. Survived by wife, Betty Stevens of Kailua-Kona; son, Richard Kaiwi Stevens of Kailua Kona; daughters, Rene (Beni Atualevao) Stevens and Sina (Jay) Cabilin of Washington; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
