Norman Aguinaldo, 80, of Honomu died Nov. 19 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Honomu, he was a retired mechanic for the former Hawaii Motors, past co-owner of AC&S Automobile Repair and member of Honomu Good Shepherd Mission. Memorial Mass 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, at Honomu Good Shepherd Mission, 28-3518 Honomu Ln. Casual attire. Survived by wife, Dorothy Aguinaldo of Honomu; daughters, Toni (Gonzaka) Sorcy of Keaau, Nicole (Lyle Balingit) Aguinaldo of Pepeekeo, Jody (Christopher) Mitsumura of Maui, Judy (Ronald Kanakanui) Aguinaldo and Colette (Darren Dana) Kelly of Hilo; brother, Lawrence (Lani) Aguinaldo of Hilo and Anthony “Duke” Aguinaldo of Hilo; brother-in-law, Ralph Uchima of Honomu; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Marjorie Fergerstrom, 78 of Kalaoa, Kona, died Sept. 27, at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Kealakekua, she was a Kona airport greeter. Celebration of life visitation 10-11 a.m. Sunday (Dec. 8) at Laka canoe halau on the Hilo Bayfront. Service at 11 a.m. Survived by daughter, Lori Ann Sakamoto of Hilo; brother, Gilbert Nakayama of Kealakekua; sisters-in-law, Dale Nakayama and Eleanor (Norman) Wong Chong of Hilo; two grandchildren; cousins. Robert L. Johnston, 91, of Keaau died Nov. 5 at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Peoria, Ill., he was a retired journeyman electrician, member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and a noble of Al Aska Shrine. No services. Survived by son, James A. Johnston of Keaau; daughters, Cheryl A. Chapman of Hoquiam, Wash., and Heather L. Hays of Romoland, Calif.; brothers, Gary Johnston and Earl Johnston of Peoria; sister, Shirley Balenti of Oklahoma City; 10 grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Soane “Mavae” Letisi, 48, of Waimea died Nov. 25 in Tonga. Born in Futu i Eua, Tonga, he was a security guard for Waikoloa Beach Marriott, American Guard Services and Private Security Group, and was an Annunciation Catholic. Visitation 5-9 p.m. Thursday (Dec. 5) at Ballard Family Mortuary. Visitation again 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday (Dec. 6) at Malia Puka O Kalani Catholic Church, 326 Desha Ave., Hilo. Mass at 1 p.m. Burial 2:30 p.m. at Homelani Memorial Park. Survived by wife, Carol Aceret Letisi of Waimea; mother, Makalita Letisi of Hilo; son, Soane (Jade) Letisi of Jacksonville, Fla.; daughters, Luisa Letisi of Antioch, Calif., and Haitelensia “Sia” Letisi of Concord, Calif.; brothers, Sangato (Joni) Letisi of Oren, Utah, Peni Letisi and Dominic (Napua) Letisi Christensen of Hilo, Tino (Kealoha) Letisi of Kurtistown, Funaki (Andrea) Letisi of Salem, Ore.; sisters, Pilimilose Letisi of Edmonds, Wash., Atelaite Letisi of Waikoloa and Mary (Kiko) Letisi Vete of Edmond, Wash.; two grandchildren.
