Breast cancer survivors can participate in a four-session outrigger canoe experience on Saturdays in October.
Paddling sessions will take place from 8-10 a.m. Oct. 5, 12 19 and 26. Paddlers of all ages, size and skill levels are welcome.
Coach Ira Kekaualua and the paddlers of Hui Wa‘a ‘O Waiakea will help survivors learn paddling timing and techniques.
Registration deadline is Oct. 1. Cost is $10 for all four sessions.
All money raised will stay in Hilo with the American Cancer Society.
