The affected areas, in gray on the map, may experience low to zero water pressure during the shut-off period.
Upon the resumption of service, water lines will be flushed and cleaned, during which time customers may notice turbid and/or discolored water.
There also may be trapped air in water customers’ plumbing, which will be released as water is used.
Affected customers are reminded to take necessary precautions to protect property and facilities including, but not limited to, disabling electrical power to pumps and/or any other devices whose normal operation may be dependent on water pressure and/or water supply, and which might be harmed if automatically energized during the water shutoff.
