Lawanda L. Bradley, 81, of Hilo, formerly of Chula Vista, Calif., died July 17 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Tulare, Calif., she was a self-employed beautician, avid hula dancer, part of the Jean Kalani Halau for 20 years, volunteer at Hospice of Hilo and member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. No services planned. Survived by husband, Kevin Bradley of Hawaiian Paradise Park; son, Lynn Ray (Vickie) Keith of Lebanon, Ore.; daughter, Janice (John) Becker of Lebanon; stepsons, Sean Bradley and Patrick Bradley of Lemon Grove, Calif.; brothers, Nim Roberts of Wichita, Kan., and Michael (Cindy) Roberts of Chula Vista; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
