Joey Kapono Asagra, 26, of Mountain View, died May 31. He was a cook and server. Service at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, June 18, at Ballard Family Mortuary. Lunch to follow. Green attire. Survived by partner, Chanice Levita of Honokaa; son, Broghan Levita-Asagra of Honokaa; parents, Cassandra and Jove Asagra of Nevada; brother, Jove (Daisy Akina) Asagra Jr. of Nevada; sister, Tasia (Robert Gutierrez) Asagra of Kailua-Kona; grandparents, Donna (Tom) Crosley of Mountain View and Stanley (Kathleen) Reyes of Honolulu; aunts, uncles and cousins. Policarpio “Johnny” Martinez Maltezo, 90, of Honokaa died June 4 at home. Born in Lubnac, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, he was a retired heavy equipment operator for the former Honokaa Sugar Co. and member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Visitation 8-10 a.m. Saturday, June 22, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Honokaa. Mass at 10 a.m. Casual attire. Burial at Honokaa County Cemetery. Survived by son, Allen Maltezo of Honokaa; daughters, Nenita Maltezo of Las Vegas and Joy (Hank Aki) Maltezo of Waimea; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Hilaria “Laring” Duldulao Panglao, 67, of Pahala died May 15 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Magsingal, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, she was a retired certified nurse’s assistant for Ka‘u Hospital, adult foster care home operator and member of the Pahala Filipino Association and Pahala Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Visitation 8:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 22, at Pahala Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Mass at 10 a.m. Casual attire; flowers welcomed. Burial at Pahala Catholic Church Cemetery. Survived by husband, Sam Panglao of Pahala; daughters, Novelyn (David) Hinazumi of Kauai and Leiah (Dustin) Figueroa of Mountain View; son, Jayson (Malia) Panglao of Maui; hanai daughter, Mary Ann (Mark) Delucia of Arizona; sisters, Martina Soliven of Oahu, Bernarda Plete and Catalina Duldulao-Diaz of Spain; brother-in-law, Mariano Panglao of the Philippines; sisters-in-law, Anselma Corpuz and Feliza Lopez of the Philippines; 13 grandchildren; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
