Bernard Kuamoo Sr., 68, of Mililani, Oahu, formerly of Hilo, died Feb. 12 at home. Born in Hilo, he was a retired Oahu Community Correctional Center adult corrections officer and Seventh-day Adventist Church deacon. Visitation 6-9 p.m. Wednesday (Feb. 27) at Hilo Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Service at 7 p.m. Visitation again 9-10 a.m. Thursday (Feb. 28) at the same church. Service at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park. Casual attire. Survived by wife, Theola L. Kuamoo of Mililani; son, Bernard (Mika H.) Kuamoo Jr. of Ewa Beach, Oahu; daughters, Kimberlyn (Peter Pavao III) K. Kuamoo-Pavao and Chardunais L. Kuamoo of Mililani; sisters, Diane Kuamoo Horton of Pahoa and Nalani Ferreira Miller of Seattle; brother, Gaylord Kuamoo of San Diego; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Marion Michiko Lagapa, 80, of Kealakekua died Sept. 10 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Papaikou, she was a supervisor for the former Kona Krafts and primary caregiver for the disabled, respite caregiver and coffee farmer. Memorial service 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 2, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church on Alii Drive in Kailua-Kona. Casual attire; flowers welcome. Survived by daughter, Lezlie (Delbert Wheaton) Lagapa of Las Vegas; sons, Wesley Lagapa of Honalo and Lance (Tabbatha) Lagapa of Honokaa; brother, Bert China of Oregon; sisters, Karen China of California and Sharon Asato of Oahu; four granddaughters and five great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. Clifford Kekua Pascual, 63, of Mountain View died Jan. 24 at Hilo Medical Center. He was a self-employed construction worker and supervisor. Private services held. Survived by brothers, Larry (Jean) Pascual of Texas, John (Edith) Pascual of Mountain View, Michael Carriaga Pascual of Ocean View and Derwin Pascual of Hilo; Sister, Deborah Pascual of Hilo; aunts, uncles and cousins. Messiah Agape Puckett, stillborn boy, of Waimea died Feb. 14 at North Hawaii Community Hospital. Private services at a later date. Survived by parents, Darin and Kehau Puckett of Waimea; sisters, Xyahnea Liborio-Hanks, Hosanna Liborio-Puckett and Anaya-Rose Liborio-Puckett of Waimea; brother, Xavier Puckett of Maui; grandparents, Brian and Rhonda Liborio of Waimea, Ronald Puckett of Tennessee, Beverly Lashley of Maui; great-grandparents, Rally Tolentino of Waimea, Alice Puckett of Tennessee, Marie Zarella of Maui; aunts, uncles and cousins.
