Child safety seat inspections Saturday in Pahoa

The Hawaii Police Department is conducting a child safety seat inspection from 9-11 a.m. Saturday at the Pahoa Longs Drugs parking lot.

Officers and community volunteers will assist anyone who attends the event in how to install the seats in the safest manner.

It is important that family members and caregivers properly install and use child safety seats when transporting children.
