Ruby Endriss, 89, of Hilo died Dec. 6 in Clackamas, Ore. Born in San Bernardino, Calif., she and husband, John, served many years at Kaumana Drive Baptist Church and Hilo Medical Center Extended Care facility. Survived by daughters Dianne (Ed) Jones and Pat (Blane) Pearl; sons Ken (Julia) Endriss, David (Nicola) Endriss and Ralph (Cathy) Endriss; 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Fujie Chikuami, 99, of Hilo died Dec. 8 at a private care home in Hilo. Born in Olaa, she was retired co-owner of the former Tiny Town, homemaker and member of the Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin and its Buddhist Women’s Association. Private services held. No flowers or koden (monetary gifts). Survived by son, Roger Chikuami of Arcadia, Calif.; daughter, Karen (Dale Tangeman) Chikuami of Issaquah, Wash.; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Chikuami of Pasadena, Calif.; brother, Eiji (Sadame) Sato of Woodland Hills, Calif.; sister, Eiko Hokama of Hilo; three grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Constantine “Gus” Manuel Coutsourakis, 83, of Pahoa died Sept. 3 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in New York, he was an electrical engineer for Keck Observatory, University of Hawaii at Manoa and Seagate Technology, inventor, traveler, family man and U.S. Army veteran. No services. Survived by son, Chris (Tennille) Coutsourakis; daughter, Tonya Coutsourakis; a grandson. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.

Hank Yoshiichi Kaneshiro, 79, of Hilo died Nov. 17 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Hilo, he was a retired welder for the former Hilo Coast Processing Co. and member of Soka Gakkai International and Hawaii Army National Guard veteran. Private services held. Survived by wife, Hideko Kaneshiro of Hilo; sons, Randy E. Kaneshiro and Jimmy Kaneshiro of Hilo; daughter, Judy Beer of Hilo; three granddaughters; nieces and nephews. David Kaikaikaokekoa Rodrigues, stillborn boy, of Keaau died Dec. 16 at Hilo Medical Center. No services. Survived by parents, Dietrick Rodrigues and Jasmine Alaniz; sister, Deivalyn Rodrigues; brothers, Damion Rodrigues and Ansyn Royston; sisters Amaya Kelly and Ariya Rodrigues; grandparents, Uilani and Donald Colon, Ricky (Stacey Furtado) Alaniz, Sr., Darrilynn Pomroy and Darren Rodrigues, Sr. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.
