Considering its championship pedigree, the Hilo High girls soccer team really hasn’t started to click on all cylinders yet – but that is not the fault of Pacheco.
The senior tallied two goals and an assist in an opening win against Konawaena, and Pacheco accounted for her team’s only goal in a draw against Hawaii Prep.
With four of her team’s six goals, it’s easy to see why she was nominated by her coaching staff.
