Hawaii Prep players sign to play soccer near and far: Higgins, Jim and Boyette find college homes

Rick Winters/West Hawaii Today From left, Hawaii Prep soccer standouts Tage Boyett, Emalia Higgins and Sihkea Jim all signed their letters of intent to play soccer in college. Higgins and Jim will head to Colorado School of Mines, while Boyett signed with Cardiff Metropolitan University in Wales. Also pictured it Hawaii Prep swimmer Maile Lawson, who will swim at USC next year.

WAIMEA — Hawaii Prep thletic director Steve Perry jokes that keeping track of all the Ka Makani soccer players who have signed on to play at the next level in recent years is becoming an increasingly complicated task.
