As much of America voted, some chose not to or couldn’t

Oscar Ramirez, 61, unloads spices to be delivered to a market on election day in Woodstock, Ga., Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2018. "I thank God and this country everyday for what they gave me," said Ramirez, who emigrated from Cuba and has voted in past elections. "It makes me sick the way they go at each other," he adds of the current political climate. "Republicans and Democrats they just go at each other and all we get are promises. They worry more about each other than us. I see from the past once they get up there they forget about the little people." (AP Photo/David Goldman)
