• Cannon D. Greco Hiranaka of Waimea was named to the University of Scranton (Pa.) dean’s list for the 2018 spring semester. Greco Hiranaka is a senior exercise science major in the university’s Panuska College of Professional Studies.

• Shaun Kagawa of Hilo earned a bachelor of science in business administration from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. Kagawa was among approximately 3,700 undergraduate and graduate students who received degrees during Georgia Tech’s 255th commencement exercises May 4-5 at the McCamish Pavilion.
