Police are seeking leads on a torched car that was discovered Jan. 30 in Hilo on Kalanianaole Avenue near Carlsmith Beach Park, also known as Four Miles.
Police are seeking leads on a torched car that was discovered Jan. 30 in Hilo on Kalanianaole Avenue near Carlsmith Beach Park, also known as Four Miles.
At approximately 6:45 p.m., a vehicle was observed to be engulfed in flames on the road. Police say a man they describe as a person of interest was seen walking away from the vehicle.
He was described as about 5 feet 6 inches tall, shirtless, with a medium complexion and tattoos, and carrying an umbrella.
