Wanted man arrested

Wayne Eric Alfred Gonsalves Jr., subject of a local police wanted bulletin, was arrested Tuesday on Oahu on a Big Island warrant by the Honolulu Police Department.

He was brought back to Hilo and had an initial court appearance Friday.

In addition, detectives are still investigating Gonsalves’ alleged involvement in an assault investigation.
