Police are asking for the public’s help with locating a 28-year-old Puna man wanted for questioning in an unrelated assault investigation.
Daniel S.K. Valente-Akau is also wanted on an outstanding bench warrant in an unrelated manner.
He’s described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, 190 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair, a large tribal tattoo below his right elbow and the word “Kapena” in large print on the top portion of his right arm above the tribal tattoo. He has no known permanent address.
