Search continues for missing fisherman

The search for a missing fisherman at Kaalualu Bay in Ka‘u is in its second day, the Fire Department said today.

According to a written statement, a bystander said the man fell off a cliff into the ocean late Tuesday afternoon. Both county helicopters were deployed in the search, which was called off at nightfall, when no sign of the man was found.
