Chop Suey Puainako Center to open today

Ling’s Chop Suey at the Puainako Town Center in Hilo plans to reopen today.

An early September fire caused $120,000 in damage, according to the Hawaii Fire Department, and was put out quickly by firefighters, with help from a fire-suppression system. Damages from smoke, water and flames caused the restaurant to close for repair.

The restaurant’s phone message announces the reopening date and proclaims, “see you then!”
