Fire destroyed a vacant home early Wednesday morning in the Hawaiian Beaches subdivision.

Fire destroyed a vacant home early Wednesday morning in the Hawaiian Beaches subdivision.

According to a written Fire Department statement, the alarm was received at 4:10 a.m. and six units responded. The first arrived at 4:25 a.m. to find the structure totally involved in flames.

The loss to the home and its contents is estimated at $150,000 and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
