Robbery suspect turns self in

Police say a 38-year-old man who wanted for a Friday robbery in Hilo turned himself in.

Clarence Hatori was arrested at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday at the Hilo police station.

Hatori was charged with contempt of court and bail was set at $300 on the offense. He was also booked on suspicion of robbery and detectives continue to investigate the incident.
