BIIF basketball: Keaau upends Hilo at Vikings’ tournament

Renden Tavares scored 17 points Thursday night as Keaau spoiled Hilo’s debut at its new gym with a 42-40 victory at the Hilo High Holiday Prep Classic.

EJ Narido led all scorers with 20 points for the Vikings, who saw their 21-15 halftime lead disappear.
