Life Care Center of Hilo will celebrate Nursing Home Week in May with festivities for the residents and their family members. In addition, the trained professional staff will offer several free community services from 3-6 p.m. Tuesday, May 13.
Nurses will be available for blood pressure screens. Social service workers will be performing memory checks. Rehabilitation staffers will provide balance checks. Derek Kurisu and George Yoshida from “Seniors Living In Paradise” will close the community day with a 6 p.m. food demonstration open to the public.
