Born in Multnomah County, Oregon, he was the proprietor of Roger’s Keaau Junction Restaurant &Bar and Hawes Brothers Auto Service; manager of Gresham Elks Club; member of Kilauea Golf Club; umpire for Amateur Softball Association of America and umpire and state Director for the North American Fastpitch Association. Rose Marie Vincent, 72, of Hilo died Feb. 22 in Kaneohe, Oahu. Born in Honolulu, she formerly worked as a receptionist for the Hawaii County Office of Aging Coordinated Services and the Hilo Coast Processing Company. She was also a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Papaikou and St. Joseph’s Church.
