Ashleigh Karaitiana and Marissa Wimbley each hit three 3-pointers as the Rainbow Wahine (10-8, 3-2 Big West) beat the Anteaters (3-16, 0-5) for the fifth consecutive time.
UH used an 18-7 lead to grab control of the game late in the first half and finished with a dominating 52-27 edge in rebounds.
The Wahine face Cal State Northridge on Saturday.
Men’s volleyball sweeps
Kupono Fey slammed a season-high 13 kills on his 21st birthday, and Hawaii swept Grand Canyon 25-20, 25-20, 28-26 at Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu.
Stijn van Tilburg tallied a team-high 14 kills and Sinisa Zarkovic added 12 kills for UH (5-1), which hit .264 and handed the Lopes (5-1) their first loss.
The teams match up again Friday.
